Swing Over to the Bronx

This project happened at lightening speed! The timeline from original contact to install spanned 13 days. This is atypical. The price tag does not include expediting fees which I normally charge when I’m asked for an unreasonably fast turnaround. Our work as designers is planned weeks in advance and my production calendar is booked 30-60 days out depending on the season. Getting it done is possible…just know there’s a cost associated with that and limitations. All of the items sourced were in stock and available for delivery 3-5 days of ordering. The cause made it all work it and if you’d like to support B.R.E.A.T.H.E. Circles, please consider gifting one of the items on their Amazon Wishlist.

Now, on to the goodies…

The items I’ve already shared on my Insta page are prints by Natalie O, Noemad, Hello Allison Art, a pillow from T.R.A.E. and pieces from Rugs USA.
Here are 5 more items from this project:

World Market Sherpa
Light, yet plush – theSherpa will take you through those cool summer nights to the first frost of winter. It was the perfect base for the swing and that tassel detail is just perfect.

West Elm Chairs
The blush beauties pack so much style, comfort and durability all in one. If you love them like I do, be sure to check if the height works for you. The chairs are on the shorter side which is what we needed.

Serena & Lily Swing
Ok. Let’s just get to it. The. Swing.
…I mean how could we not. Look at it!
The swing must be professionally installed. This is a non-negotiable. Your tradesman/woman will be able to find the beam for secure mounting so your hind part doesn’t end up on the floor.

Amazon Hardware
Though the swing came with hardware, the screws are less than ideal. We used these three items from Amazon to install the swing. Yes, you are about to order deck nails. Yes, you just have to trust me on this one. Even a thicker deck nail is fine (don’t go lower on the length).

Target for Accessories
Good old Tar-jay came through with several items including throw pillows and picture frames. Their project 62 line is amazing. I was even able to score a few fab light fixtures for <$30!

Tell me…what’s your favorite piece of the magic we created?

Cost: $10,269*
