In addition to their beauty, plants are known for their purification abilities. Here are the best plants to clear the air in your space:

Snake Plant

The Snake plant purifies air by absorbing toxins through the leaves and producing oxygen.
A snake plant (Sansevieria) is an ideal bedroom plant. While many plants release carbon dioxide at night, Sansevieria’s continues to produce oxygen.


English Ivy

English Ivy (Hedera Helix) is another popular houseplant that helps filter airborne toxins indoors.
According to NASA's Clean Air Study, English Ivy is effective at cleansing benzene, formaldehyde, xylene and toluene from the air.
